MS Basketball Camps & Clinics
In addition to our weekly MS Academy sessions, we proudly offer a range of basketball development programs throughout the year.
These include our MS Basketball Holiday Camps, held during Victorian school holiday periods across multiple Melbourne locations. Our camps provide athletes with an intensive training environment where they can sharpen their skills, boost conditioning, and gain valuable game experience. It’s a great opportunity for players to accelerate their development in a structured, high-energy setting.
We also run Mini Academy Clinics – perfect for athletes who are keen to improve but may not be able to commit to the full 8-week Academy program. These clinics are fast-paced, focused, and designed to deliver high-impact skill development in a flexible format.

Holiday Basketball Camp
Dates: Tuesday 7 April and Thursday 9 April
Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Sherbrooke
Ages: 5 to 12 years
Boys and girls welcome
Come along and learn the skills of basketball in a fun, positive and encouraging environment.
This holiday camp will focus on developing the fundamentals of the game, with a strong emphasis on:
- Shooting technique
- Finishing around the basket
- Footwork and ball handling
- Game based skill development
Players will have the opportunity to learn and improve their skills under the guidance of former NBL player Matt Shanahan, bringing elite level experience and coaching knowledge to every session.
Whether you are new to basketball or already playing, this camp is designed to help players build confidence, improve skills and enjoy the game.

High Performance Shooting Camp
Across the two sessions players will work on:
- Advanced shooting technique and consistency
- Game speed catch and shoot situations
- Finishing around the basket through contact
- Footwork and balance in scoring situations
- Shooting under pressure and fatigue
- Competitive drills and game scenarios
Players will receive high level coaching, detailed feedback and a challenging training environment designed to replicate game intensity.

Program Overview
This camp is designed for motivated players looking to take the next step in their development in a fast paced, high intensity training environment.
Players will learn advanced skills, basketball terminology and concepts while working through drills and competitive situations that challenge decision making, skill execution and game understanding.
Sessions will be conducted at a high pace and designed to replicate the intensity and demands of real game play while continuing to build strong skill foundations.
